Hi,

I have successfully created a standby database in the test environment and now would like to add another one to the configuration, would i just have to change the LOG_ARCHIVE_CONFIG parameter to include the new standby eg

LOG_ARCHIVE_CONFIG='DG_CONFIG=(PRIM,STAN1,STAN2)'

and add a new LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST_n parameter.

Thanks

Call it a question or guidance i just want to know if the changes i have above would have to be made to the primary parameter file or if more changes have to be made. If you could provide a step by step process that would be helpful.

Thanks
