I have a question concerning flashback in Oracle11g:

In 10g changes made to the db structure like adding datafiles or log file groups were not affected by flashback. In 11g these changes seem to be reverted, too.

Does anyone knows which changes flashback in 11g reverts?

Cheers,
Miri

Can you explain in details what you did and what you want to do, it is not clear.
First of all, which kind of flashback are you talking about?

I do performance analysis for an application.
Before I start running a test I create a restore point,
after the test I flashback to restore point.

During the testing I sometimes add or enlarge datafiles etc.
In 10g these changes were not undone by flashback.

In 11g this seems to be the case. Do you know exactly which actions flashback undoes in 11g?

I didn't test it; are you sure? I think it is doubful; does Oracle also shrink the OS file?

By the way, 11g what? Always post your Oracle version with 4 decimals.
