we have 500gb of database in which images are also there..my senior asked me if we get any problem with OS or our server crashes...in that case can we recover our old database??..Can u suggest me in that case which type of backup we should take??
and please can anyone forward me the steps for hot backup cloning???

including detail of cloning, which you perform with the rman DUPLICATE command.
