I have a 12.2 database, to which we need to apply the January DB+OJVM RU: patch 33559893 which contains 33587128 for the DB and 33561274 for the OJVM. However, the opatch prereq check is failing because of a conflict.

The only patches applied to this system since it was installed are 32228578, which was the January 2021 RU, and a merge patch:

Patch 32512655: MERGE REQUEST ON TOP OF DATABASE JAN 2021 RU 12.2.0.1.210119 FOR BUGS 32307810

The merge patch was to fix some performance issues with Data Pump.

The important part of the prereq output is (I think) this,Quote:
- Please rollback the relevant overlay patches of the subset patches which are conflicting and apply the superset patch
Summary of Conflict Analysis:

There are no patches that can be applied now.

Following patches have conflicts. Please contact Oracle Support and get the merged patch of the patches :
32512655, 33587128
If I understand that correctly, I am supposed to rollback 32512655, then apply a sprecially produced version of 33587128 which will include 32512655. Is that correct? If so, the problem I have is that I really wanted to get this done today.

Is there any way around this?

Thank you for any insight.
