Hi Everyone,

I am running an Oracle 9i database on Sun 2.9.

I am running in ArchiveLog Mode.

I backup my controlfile to trace, my archive logs and database files.

�

IF, I lost my UNDO tablespace datafiles, is there any way I am able to recover my database to a consistent state?

backup controlfile to trace, generates only a ddl of create database which is used if you want to recreate the database somewhere else.
IT IS NOT A BACKUP for entire database.
did u backup ur database with RMAN or any other utilities?
