Hi. I try to restore a database to a different host.
In 2 hosts i have installed win2000 proffesional. The operating system of host A has damaged and i have to carry the database to the host b. I have only the folder of the database (oracle%%) and the backup files. How can i restore the database to the new host b?

Ps : i can't open the host because of the damaged operating system(win2000)

Make a new database in host B. It should have the
same path (Oracle Home) and Sid as the host A.

Now replace the datafiles of host A into host B.

This should solve your problem. Just remember everything in Host B should be same as Host A.
