Please if anybody could tell how to import a .dmp file made in Oracle 8.1.6 to Oracle 8.0.5

u can use copy cmd to copy some specific obj.

If u need the whole database, run catexp7.sql. Use exp ( release 8.05, must be in 8.05 environnement ) to extract DATA ( exp usr/passwd@DB816 ).

Run import.
