pls someone help me how will i recover a tablespace upto a particular time ...

Hi,

See chapter 11: "Performing RMAN Tablespace Point-in-Time Recovery" of the "Oracle9i Recovery Manager User's Guide".

BTW: TSPITR is a complicated procedure. If you are new to Oracle, it might be easier to restore the entire database on a different machine, export the data and to re-import it on the target database.
