Get an EXP-00024 error while running exp script [message #109753]

Hi ,

When I try to run the EXP command on my database ,I receive the EXP-00024 error saying that Export views are not installed.
Can somebody help me with this.
My Oracle version is 9.2.0.4.

Hi ,
Thanks for the reply ..
My only issue is that this is a Production instance.
I need to undersatnd if there are any potential problems that may occur if I do this.
I have very limited Knowledge as an Oracle DBA.
Is there anything I need to check before this ?

this happens when you use a higher version cleint against a lower version database.
so, either use a lower version cleint to export / import.
or
install the right views.

Study. Do research.
THen apply anything.
