Is there any way to export the backup to an ip address eg. to a scsi on the the network. so that everytime the script runs the export is automatically backed up in a remote location
Thanx

You can NFS mount or share the remote drive to the local machine where you initiate the export.
or
initiate the export from remote machine and store the dmp locally in the remote machine.

these has nothing to do with oracle.
Talk to your UNIX admin.
sharing a filesystem / NFS mounting it to a remote machine, needs some knowledge in system adminstration.
Or look into UNIX docs.
