hello,
I tried to use rman installed with oracle 9i release 2 to manage backup and recovery of an oracle 8i but i got a message telling that there was an incompatibility between the rman and that version of oracle database (8i).
Now i decide to use rman for oracle 8i but i don't know how to configure rman as i would do with the 9i versison
(using rman commands RMAN>show all; configure devcie type dsik ...)
how can i do this with the rman for 8i?
