Hi ,
I want to know how to link my SDLT tape media management library with the Oracle in order to backup my database to the tape using rman.

What MML are you using (Netbackup, Omniback, etc)? On what platform? Also, let us know the MML and Oracle versions in use.

well,
i just want to backup to an IBM Super DLT is it managed by a MML?
how can i do it?

It cannot be done without a third party media management product.

ok
I have TDP for oracle but it's already used in my oracle server to backup to TSM.
Is it possible to use it also to backup to SDLT tape and how ??
