hi all,
I have duplicated a database with RMAN
I now have the situation whereby when I list incarnation I get multiple entries as follows

List of Database Incarnations

how do I get rid of the old 11I entry.

did you try having a different user to duplicate ( that is what i always do .Seperate users to backup,restore,duplicate1,duplicate2. So i 'believe' that is the reason i have never have encountered this.)
like rmanuser_backup to backup the database and rmanuser_dup to duplicate the database ?

and did you unregister the target database?
THat should remove those duplicate entries.
