Can Hot backup and export should be taken at same time. I know there is no error while doing both at same time. But is it advisable. If no, what are the consequences??

Thanks
Toshi Das

Yes.
They can be.
But what is point?
Why to have two different methods of backup at the same time? (meanwhile, Export is not a real backup).
If you spread it out, it **may** be useful when you are actually trying to restore.
Again, it depends on your database usage and need. Nothing can be generalized.

Yes You can. I hope u understand the difference between the Export and Hot Backup

Export is a logical backup
and the hotbackup is a physical backup.

We have various features of using these two features.
